Fair Necessities Quiz, Talk, Action
This year, Traidcraft is part of something very special... We’re hoping to raise awareness of the plight of smallholder farmers, and show their entitlement to the ‘Fair Necessities’ of life. Until the 3rd April, the UK Government will match every donation we receive for this appeal, so that we can help twice as many farmers, along with their families and communities too.
Whether you do regular fundraising for your school or you’re planning a party for Fairtrade Fortnight, it’s the perfect time to donate and make a real difference. We’ve also created some activities for the classroom too!
Fundraising ideas:
You can fundraise by:
- Holding a Big Brew in school!
- Selling Traidcraft products on a stall
- Sharing catalogues around teachers, pupils, and staff
- Holding a non-uniform day
- Doing a sponsored activity or game
- Selling fair trade coffee to parents at parents evenings or events
