Use our assemblies to help you teach fair trade.
Pop the date in your diary (29th Feb- 13th March 2016) and use our fantastic Fairtrade Fortnight assemblies to introduce the idea of smallholder farmers.
These values can bring light to communities, promoting co-operation and warmth rather than hostility or simply ambivalence. Each of us also have the choice on a day-to-day basis of whether to bring warmth, co-operation and peace or hostility and negative feeling.
This year we are hearing a lot about people competing in the Olympics; sports people who are famous for being good at sport. We would never have heard these names if they were not outstanding in their field and hadn’t become known for winning competitions and reaching the Olympics.
Who has ever played a game where someone cheated? Who has lost as a result? How did it feel? Have you ever shouted ‘he cheated! That’s not fair!’ It can be very frustrating if we are trying to take part fairly and follow the rules, and other people cheat.
